Launch of E-Mandate in NJ E wealth Account

A landmark step towards only paperless business. NJ is the first Corporate in India to launch eMandate facility

Important Points

  • Aadhaar number should be linked to client's Bank account for eMandate approval.
  • eMandate registration will start in E wealth Ac activated with ESIGN from 27th July 2017.
  • Currently only NJ Mandate will be processed in eMandate. BSE eMandate will be available soon.
  • eMandate will be processed only in ACH mode.
  • 8 Banks available in eMandate facilities which are
    • Syndicate Bank
    • Punjab National Bank
    • Oriental Bank of Commerce
    • ICICI Bank
    • HDFC Bank
    • Saraswat Co Operative Bank
    • HSBC Bank
    • Ratnakar Bank
  • Many more banks are under testing mode on eMandate paltform of NPCI & will be live shortly.
  • In case any client needs the auto debit facility in HDFC & ICICI bank then additional physical mandate can be sent for registration.
  • eMandate registration will be available only at the time of NJ E-Wealth account opening.
  • Maximum upper limit for eMandate is restricted upto Rs. 1 lakh by NPCI.
  • eMandate will be processed if ,mode of holding in bank account is “single” or “Anyone or Survivor”.
  • IF Mandate Limit entered is more than Rs. One lac, then system will prompt an alert & if the limit is not changed as per the guidelines then it will be processed as normal mandate.
  • In case client bank is not active in eMandate registration facility, mandate will be processed as per the normal process.
